About Us
Regal Contracting owner Aaron W. Himes is no stranger to the construction business. As the owner/operator
of Melco Painting and Drywall since [1989], Aaron's commitment to quality and safety has earned Melco the distinct recognition
as the only Certified Paint and Drywall Contractor in the Mid-Atlantic Region certified by the National Association of Home
Builders. Today, Melco employs over 100 professionals with annual sales of $12,000,000. Simply put: Melco
is the last word in painting and drywall contracting for single family, multi family, town homes and condominium buildings
in the greater Washington D.C. area.
Regal Contracting opened its doors in
November of 2006 and immediately established itself as one of the area's foremost contractors performing tenant improvements/maintenance
for commercial properties in and around the Washington metropolitan area. It has now expanded operations to General
Contracting specializing in the building of corporate interiors and base building renovations.

As owner and President of Regal Contracting Aaron is responsible for all
company affairs including business development, planning and operational procedures. Aaron is no stranger to the construction business. For over 30 years Aaron has successfully operated and grown his business as one of the most distinguished
and respected residential contractor's in the Mid Atlantic region. |
As stated earlier Aaron's commitment to quality
and safety earned Melco the distinct recognition as the only Certified Paint and Drywall Contractor in the Mid Atlantic Region
which is affiliated through the National Association of Home Builders. Setting new objectives and goals, and utilizing
company resources to acquire sales, develop procedures, policies and cost controls has rewarded Melco with the ability to
grow in a depressed housing market.
To continue growth Melco diversified to custom painting. Melco opened
a Custom Paint Department and obtained exclusive licensing from 6 Home Depot Stores to perform Home Depot, Home installation
paint services.
Melco continues to search for innovated ideas and methods of success but acknowledges the fact
that success comes from believing in yourself and living your dream.
With the continuing
downturn in the housing market Aaron purchased a small commercial painting company. Opening an LLC, Regal Contracting was
formed.
Regal began operations in November of 2006 performing painting and maintenance for commercial properties
in and around the Washington metropolitan area. It has now expanded operations to General Contracting specializing in

Vice President
Karl Schueler along with Aaron and Art Himes started Regal Contracting in November of
2006. We currently specialize in tenant improvements and have just recently started a separate division specializing in
tenant build outs and base building renovations.
As the Vice President of the company, I am responsible for
business development, customer relationship management and overseeing of estimating and field construction management.

finished product in accordance with your time schedule and with Regal Contractings' team having a combined total of well
over 100 years of experience in the construction industry, we can provide you with the confidence that your project will be
completed to your level of expectation and satisfaction.
I currently have over 15 years of experience in the construction
industry. I currently hold a chair on the Associate Council of The Home Builders Association of Maryland. In 2005, I was elected
chairman of the Executive Council of K. Hovnanian Homes of Virginia. In 2006, I was elected chairman of the Executive Council
of K. Hovnanian Homes of Maryland.

November 2006 a new start,
an opportunity to expand, an arena to diversify in an ever changing market. That is exactly what we have done with
the purchasing of Regal Paint and Wallcoverings. This purchase was not made solely on what Regal Paint and Wallcoverings
was "a tenant improvement based business with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction" but, what we saw
it could be. With the purchase came a new name, Regal Contracting, and a new vision. In addition to offering
our customers the same type of service they have become accustomed, we have now expanded our portfolio to include tenant
build out. | We are a complete turn key operation,
from paint, carpet, carpentry, drywall repairs, bathroom renovation, etc. all the way to a total custom tenant build out.

As part of the executive management team, Art's responsibilities
consist of running the day to day operations of the company. This includes marketing, sales, customer relations, client services,
strategic planning and field management. Our goals are simple; provide our customers a product that is of the highest
quality and one that is delivered on time.
Being raised in the construction industry and learning the residential
construction from the ground up, Art decided to make that his career. Working along side his father Aaron Himes, Art
has been exposed to many aspects of the construction business. Starting his working profession in the field provided
invaluable hands on experience. Working his way to upper management, Art has over 12 years of construction experience
to rely on. Developing and maintaining relationships are a hallmark of any successful organization, Art takes great
pride in his ability to do just that. A hands on approach helps guarantee the successful completion of all projects
and helps build and strengthen current relationships.
Being in business for the last twelve years
with my father, Aaron Himes has taught me a tremendous amount about the construction industry and business in general.
I'm a firm believer that your company is only as good as the employees' you have working for you. Our employees'
are our most valued assets. Being armed with this knowledge I believe Regal Contracting has put together an excellent
management and estimating team. This team along with our experienced and highly knowledgeable sub contractor base shall
assure us that all of our goals as well as the goals of our customer are reached.
